Barite exports in United States goes down in 2015

According to data issued by U.S. Geological Survey, in 2015 barite export decreased by 9.15 percent. The indicator declined from 153 thousand tonnes to 139 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 23.12%. United States saw a rise of 826.67% in barite export during the last 18 years. As well as it has had a 0.07 percent CAGR during the last five years with a slight overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 78.83 thousand tonnes from 1998 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 199 thousand tonnes in 2013 and record low of 15 thousand tonnes in 2007.
