Import of flour or meal of sago, starchy roots or tubers to Mozambique goes down in 2016

According to figures issued by United Nations Statistical Office, flour import strongly fell by 73.32 percent in comparison with the previous year. Flour import declined greatly from 1 499 kilogram in 2015 to 400 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 10.4 percent. Mozambique saw a rise of 22.32% in flour import during the last 17 years. As well as it has shown a 0.04 percent CAGR during the five years with a negligible overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 536 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 1 673 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 41 kilogram in 2010.
