Export of groundnuts in shell from Hong Kong: Diminution in 2017

Compared to the previous year groundnuts export fell greatly by 53.7 percent, revised data from United Nations Statistical Office present. The indicator went down sharply from 160 303 kilogram in 2016 to 74 228 kilogram prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it went up by 1.92 percent. The overall changes for the prior 25 years attained a drop of 92.24%. Besides, it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.1 percent over the 5 years with a negligible overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 294 092 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 1 155 143 kilogram in 1999 and record low of 21 755 kilogram in 2008.
