Fresh peppers import in Canada: Decrease in 2017

Fresh peppers import barely decreased by 0.48 percent in comparison with the prior year, adjusted data from Canada National Statistical Office display. The indicator dropped negligibly by 0.65 thousand tonnes, in contrast to the previous year when it rose by 9.14%. Canada saw a rise of 2 101.16% in fresh peppers import during the last 57 years. Besides, it has shown a growth at a 0.01% CAGR during the 5 years with a sharp overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 59.35 thousand tonnes from 1961 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 134.04 thousand tonnes in 2016 and record low of 6.06 thousand tonnes in 1961.
