Pipelines length in Russia falls in 2016

According to revised figures published by Russia National Statistical Office, the indicator negligibly went down by 4.05% compared to the prior year. Pipelines length declined barely from 74 thousand kilometers to 71 thousand kilometers, when it remained stable by 0%. The overall changes for the previous 17 years hit a rise of 12.7%. Still it has had a fall at a 0.01% average annual growth rate over the last five years with a strong overall growth since the 2000. It averaged 67.71 thousand kilometers from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 75 thousand kilometers in 2013 and record low of 63 thousand kilometers in 2001.
