Import of soya sauce to Philippines rises in 2017

According to data announced by United Nations Statistical Office, soya sauce import climbed sharply by 40.9 percent in comparison with the previous year. The variable grew greatly by 2 334 485 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 41.25 percent. The overall changes for the previous 22 years reached a growth of 425.36%. Furthermore, it has attained a 0.23 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a modest overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 2 869 598.73 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 9 859 281 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 1 215 959 kilogram in 2001.
