Primary refined lead production in South Korea: Increase in 2014

Lead production greatly rose by 31.31 percent in comparison with the same time a year ago, according to new numbers issued by U.S. Geological Survey. The variable went up sharply by 71 300 metric ton, contrarily to the prior year when it decreased by 18.68 percent. It's the highest level on record since 1998. South Korea saw a growth of 124.7% in lead production during the last 17 years. As well as it has attained a 0.09 percent compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a negligible overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 199 318 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it reached its minimum of 133 066 metric ton in 1998.
