Tungsten production in Russia holds steady in 2016

Compared to the previous year the indicator did not change, adjusted statistics from U.S. Geological Survey indicate. The same as it has been for the last 2 year, the tungsten production remained stable at 2 600 metric ton. Russia saw a diminution of 13.33% in tungsten production during the last 19 years. Likewise, it has attained a drop at a 0.06% average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a marginal overall fall since the 1998. It averaged 3 268.21 metric ton from 1998 to 2016 and it hit its maximum of 5 300 metric ton in 2002.
