Commercial vehicles in use in Afghanistan rises in 2017

According to revised statistics announced by OICA, the variable slightly rose by 1.73% compared with the previous year. It hit its 13-year maximum as commercial vehicles in use barely grew by 7.33 thousand units, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 1.76 percent. Afghanistan saw a raise of 115.56% in commercial vehicles in use over the past 13 years. Moreover, it has had a growth at a 0.01% compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 315.01 thousand units from 2005 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 200 thousand units in 2006.
