Iron ore production, gross weight, in Azerbaijan goes down in 2014

U.S. Geological Survey announced that in comparison to the previous year iron ore production sharply dropped by 35.46 percent. The variable declined strongly by 50 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 31.88%. The overall changes for the previous 17 years attained a rise of 1 278.79%. Likewise, it has attained a 0.09% average annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 47.3 thousand tonnes from 1998 to 2014 and it hit its all-time high of 214 thousand tonnes in 2011 and record low of 3.1 thousand tonnes in 2003.
