Alumina production in Canada: Stagnancy in 2017

U.S. Geological Survey reported that alumina production hasn't changed in comparison to the prior year. The alumina production remained steady at 1 550 thousand tonnes, for the 2nd consecutive year. The overall changes for the previous 20 years reached a rise of 26.12%. Likewise, the alumina production is now greater than its average which equals 1 304.3 thousand tonnes and the indicator displays a negligible overall increase since the 1998. It attained its all-time high of 1 570 thousand tonnes in 2015 and record low of 1 023 thousand tonnes in 2000.
