Chromium consumption in India grows in 2017

U.S. Geological Survey published that compared to the previous year chromium consumption increased by 12.04 percent. The indicator rose from 930 thousand tonnes to 1 042 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 13.83%. It shows the all-time high since 2003. The overall changes for the previous 15 years attained a rise of 384.65%. Likewise, it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.12% during the 5 years with a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 651.53 thousand tonnes from 2003 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 215 thousand tonnes in 2003.
