Sugar consumption by households in United Kingdom: Decrease in 2015

UK National Statistical Office reported that the variable dropped hardly by 3.87% in 2015. It's new all-time minimum since 1974 as sugar consumption decreased negligibly from 77.96 gram per person per week to 74.94 gram per person per week, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 14.58%. The overall changes for the previous 42 years hit a diminution of 83.64%. Besides, it has attained a decrease at a 0.04% average annual growth rate during the last five years with a negligible overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 212.44 gram per person per week from 1974 to 2015 and it attained its maximum of 458.16 gram per person per week in 1974.
