Jet fuel import in Portugal: Raise in June 2018

The variable climbed strongly by 106.69 percent compared with the prior month, new data from JODI Data indicate. Jet fuel import sharply increased from 0.25 thousand barrels per day to 0.53 thousand barrels per day, in contrast to the previous month when it decreased by 3.42 percent. The year before, this variation attained 210.24% and the jet fuel import hit 0.79 thousand barrels per day in June 2017. When looking at the year-on-year setting, a -33.38 percent decrease can be established between June 2017 and the same month in 2018. Portugal saw a decline of 91% in jet fuel import over the past 9 years. Likewise, the jet fuel import is now below average of 2.14 thousand barrels per day with a overall diminution since the 2009. It reached its all-time high of 18.39 thousand barrels per day in April 2014 and record low of 0.25 thousand barrels per day in May 2018.
