Naphtha export in Egypt: Decline in April 2018

Compared with March 2018 naphtha export fell by 12.77%, new figures from JODI Data highlight. Naphtha export dropped from 94 thousand tonnes to 82 thousand tonnes, versus the prior month when it increased by 276 percent. In 2017, the variable did not vary between April and March. When examining the year-on-year picture, a 228% rise can be announced between April 2017 and April of the year after. The overall changes for the previous 9 years attained a fall of 63.06%. In comparison to its average, the naphtha export is now lower as the mean equals 115.61 thousand tonnes with a moderate overall decrease since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 275 thousand tonnes in July 2010 and record low of 23 thousand tonnes in October 2016.
