Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Romania drops in 2017

According to numbers presented by United Nations Statistical Office, horses import strongly fell by 70% in 2017. Horses import diminished greatly from 30 to 9, in comparison with the prior year when it grew by 200%. Romania saw a decline of 94.97% in horses import over the past 14 years. Besides, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.19 percent over the last 5 years with a modest overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 57.64 from 2004 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 309 in 2005 and record low of 8 in 2012.
