Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Romania goes down in 2017

The variable went down sharply by 70% in comparison to the previous year, according to adjusted figures released by United Nations Statistical Office. Horses import greatly declined from 30 to 9, contrarily to the prior year when it grew by 200 percent. Romania saw a decrease of 94.97% in horses import during the last 14 years. Furthermore, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.19% over the 5 years with a slight overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 57.64 from 2004 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 309 in 2005 and record low of 8 in 2012.
