Crude oil production in Brunei rises in May 2018

JODI Data announced that the indicator increased by 25.01% in comparison with the prior month. Crude oil production went up by 525.7 thousand barrels, in contrast to the previous month when it decreased by 39.15 percent. The year before, this change reached 23.12 percent and the variable attained 3 290.35 thousand barrels the same month the year before. Between May 2017 and May 2018, the statistics constitute a -20.14% variation. Brunei saw a fall of 61.94% in crude oil production over the past 16 years. As well as the crude oil production is now below average of 4 851.27 thousand barrels with a slight overall drop since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 7 509.3 thousand barrels in March 2006 and record low of 2 101.97 thousand barrels in April 2018.
