Chromium consumption in United Kingdom decreases in 2015

Compared to the prior year chromium consumption declined greatly by 42.31 percent, revised numbers from U.S. Geological Survey indicate. The variable went down sharply from 26 thousand tonnes in 2014 to 15 thousand tonnes prior year, in comparison with the previous year when it went up by 30%. United Kingdom saw a fall of 76.92% in chromium consumption over the past 13 years. Likewise, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.09 percent over the 5 years with a modest overall decrease since the 2003. It averaged 44.71 thousand tonnes from 2003 to 2015 and it attained its all-time high of 93 thousand tonnes in 2004 and record low of 14 thousand tonnes in 2012.
