Flax yarn export strongly went up by 597.24% compared with 2015, according to data published by European Commission. It highlights the all-time peak since 2005 as flax yarn export grew sharply from 77 430 Euro to 539 870 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 58.05 percent. The overall changes for the prior 12 years hit an increase of 122.32%. Besides, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.61% during the five years with a marginal overall rise since the 2005. It averaged 119 805 Euro from 2005 to 2016 and it attained its minimum of 14 990 Euro in 2008.
