Jet fuel import in Switzerland: Decrease in June 2018

The variable decreased by 11.11% in comparison with the previous month, new statistics from JODI Data reveal. Jet fuel import dropped by 149.72 thousand barrels, versus the prior month when it increased by 11.04%. The previous year, this shift reached -5.92% and the jet fuel import attained 1 126.84 thousand barrels in June 2017. To sum up, the indicator was 6.29% higher in June 2017 than in June of the year after. Switzerland saw a rise of 65.22% in jet fuel import during the last 9 years. Compared with its average, the jet fuel import is now greater as the mean equals 1 011.89 thousand barrels with a strong overall increase since the 2009. It hit its all-time high of 1 386.88 thousand barrels in August 2016 and record low of 654.04 thousand barrels in February 2009.
