Life insurance companies in Germany goes down in 2015

Number of firms in life insurance went down slightly by 4.1% in 2015, according to revised figures presented by Germany National Statistical Office. Number of firms in life insurance barely decreased from 659 to 632, in contrast to the previous year when it went up by 608.6%. The overall changes for the prior 14 years reached a growth of 469.37%. As well as it has had a rise at a 0.45% compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall increase since the 2002. It averaged 179.07 from 2002 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 659 in 2014 and record low of 93 in 2013.
