Export of parts of electrical ignition or starting equipment from Hong Kong declines in 2017

According to updated data announced by United Nations Statistical Office, electronic component export declined by 16.08% compared to 2016. The indicator decreased from 205 123 kilogram to 172 149 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it diminished by 33.59 percent. It hit its 18-year minimum. Hong Kong saw a decrease of 56.91% in electronic component export over the past 18 years. Furthermore, it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.27% during the last 5 years with a slight overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 456 257.5 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 1 127 549 kilogram in 2007.
