Fuel oil demand in Denmark drops in May 2018

According to new data released by JODI Data, the variable diminished barely by 3.23% in May 2018. Fuel oil demand negligibly declined from 4.51 thousand barrels per day to 4.37 thousand barrels per day, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it dropped by 5.66 percent. The previous year, the indicator was decreasing by -9.27% and reached 3.12 thousand barrels per day in May of the year before. Year-on-year, this highlights a 39.99% shift between May 2017 and the same month one year later. Denmark saw a fall of 82.07% in fuel oil demand over the past 16 years. Likewise, the fuel oil demand is now below average of 14.28 thousand barrels per day with a overall diminution since the start of observations. It hit its all-time high of 32.87 thousand barrels per day in January 2006 and record low of 2.3 thousand barrels per day in February 2017.
