Import of sets of hand tools put up in sets for retail sale to Uganda: Fall in 2016

The indicator fell by 13.63 percent compared to the year before, updated figures from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. Construction equipment import decreased from 158 016 kilogram in 2015 to 136 476 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 6.79%. Uganda saw an increase of 1 129.62% in construction equipment import over the past 17 years. Though, it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.06 percent during the five years with a marginal overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 136 607.65 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 364 182 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 4 364 kilogram in 2002.
