Commercial vehicles in use in Venezuela: Increase in 2017

Commercial vehicles in use barely increased by 2.68% compared to the previous year, according to numbers issued by OICA. The variable hardly climbed by 25 thousand units, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 2.64 percent. Venezuela saw a rise of 54.43% in commercial vehicles in use over the past 13 years. Furthermore, it has had a raise at a 0.02% compound annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a marginal overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 894.15 thousand units from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 060 thousand units in 2012 and record low of 621 thousand units in 2005.
