Litharge, dry red lead and white lead shipments in United States: Rise in 2014

Lead shipments rose strongly by 535.64 percent in comparison with the previous year, according to new statistics announced by U.S. Geological Survey. Lead shipments sharply climbed by 20 140 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 4.44 percent. It's the highest record ever observed since 2001. United States saw a raise of 11.16% in lead shipments over the past 14 years. As well as it has had a 0.47 percent compound annual growth rate during the 5 years with a modest overall decline since the 2001. It averaged 10 415.71 metric ton from 2001 to 2014 and it hit its minimum of 2 520 metric ton in 2009.
