Jet fuel export in United States falls in May 2018

JODI Data announced that jet fuel export dropped by 16.46 percent compared to April. The variable went down by 1 170 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it declined by 3.33 percent. In May of the year before, the indicator decreased by -16.71% and attained 5 642 thousand barrels. When taking into account the year-on-year picture, a 5.21 percent increase can be established between May 2017 and the same month one year later. The overall changes for the prior 9 years hit a rise of 149.52%. Moreover, the jet fuel export is now above average of 4 304.09 thousand barrels with a negligible overall raise since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 7 489 thousand barrels in January 2015 and record low of 1 171 thousand barrels in February 2009.
