Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Malaysia: Drop in 2016

Horses import sharply went down by 55.03% compared to the previous year, refreshed figures from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. The indicator dropped strongly from 56 574 US Dollar in 2015 to 25 443 US Dollar prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 89.43%. Malaysia saw a decline of 93.05% in horses import during the last 28 years. Furthermore, it has had a fall at a 0.64 percent CAGR over the five years with a modest overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 1 295 673.61 US Dollar from 1989 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 5 998 218 US Dollar in 1994 and record low of 2 184 US Dollar in 2007.
