Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Turkey drops in 2017

In comparison with the same time a year ago horses import diminished by 5.26%, according to numbers issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Horses import fell by 3, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 29.63 percent. Turkey saw a fall of 72.16% in horses import over the past 17 years. Moreover, it has shown a decrease at a 0.15 percent compound average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 68 from 2001 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 194 in 2001 and record low of 31 in 2007.
