Internet subscribers per 100 population in India: Growth in Q1 of 2017

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India published that in 1st quarter 2017 the variable climbed by 7.53%. The indicator increased from 30.56 millions to 32.86 millions, as it follows the tendency of the previous quarter when it rose by 6.22 percent. It indicates the all-time high since 2014. The year before, the variable was growing by 3.02% and attained 26.98 millions in Q1. This displays a 21.79% change between Q1 2016 and Q1 2017. India saw a raise of 61.95% in telecom subscriber over the past 3 years. Moreover, the telecom subscriber is now higher than its average which equals 25.46 millions with a strong overall growth since the 2014. It hit its minimum of 20.29 millions in 1Q 2014.
