Fuel oil demand in Lithuania: Drop in April 2018

Fuel oil demand fell by 17.65 percent compared to the prior month, according to statistics issued by JODI Data. Fuel oil demand went down by 3 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it diminished by 5.56%. One year earlier, the indicator was increasing by 7.69% and hit 14 thousand tonnes the same month the year before. In April 2017 and in April of the year after, the variable's level is equal. The overall changes for the prior 15 years reached a drop of 71.43%. In comparison with its average, the fuel oil demand is now lower as the mean equals 28.66 thousand tonnes with a overall decline since the start of observations. It attained its all-time high of 70 thousand tonnes in January 2006 and record low of 4 thousand tonnes in July 2014.
