According to adjusted numbers issued by European Commission, flax yarn export increased by 18.6% compared with the prior year. The indicator rose by 240 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 396.15 percent. Slovakia saw a drop of 99.91% in flax yarn export during the last 15 years. Likewise, it has shown a diminution at a 0.08% CAGR over the 5 years with a marginal overall fall since the 2003. It averaged 195 922 Euro from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 1 690 880 Euro in 2003 and record low of 260 Euro in 2015.
