Re-import of washing and cleaning preparations put up for retail sale to South Africa drops in 2017

According to adjusted data released by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison to the prior year cleaning compound import strongly declined by 70.39%. The indicator greatly went down from 9 215 US Dollar to 2 728.19 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 66.99 percent. South Africa saw a decrease of 17.63% in cleaning compound import during the last 16 years. Furthermore, it has had a fall at a 0.41% compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 11 080.32 US Dollar from 2002 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 49 480 US Dollar in 2014 and record low of 583 US Dollar in 2012.
