Import of medicaments containing insulin but not antibiotics for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses or for retail sale to Latvia: Diminution in 2017

According to statistics released by European Commission, the variable went down by 9.54% in comparison to the prior year. The indicator decreased by 1 528 960 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 6.93 percent. Latvia saw a raise of 724.9% in insulin import over the past 17 years. As well as it has had the compound average annual growth rate of 0.13 percent over the 5 years with a marginal overall rise since the 2001. It averaged 7 497 781.18 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 18 391 640 Euro in 2014 and record low of 1 148 790 Euro in 2004.
