Kerosene import in Hong Kong goes up in June 2018

Kerosene import grew by 7.72 percent compared with May 2018, adjusted figures from JODI Data reveal. The indicator climbed from 4 287.72 thousand barrels to 4 618.57 thousand barrels, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it increased by 11.97 percent. The same month the year before, the variable went down by -13.05 percent and hit 3 351.88 thousand barrels. Between June 2017 and June 2018, the statistics display a 37.79 percent fluctuation. Hong Kong saw a rise of 153.88% in kerosene import during the last 16 years. Compared to its average, the kerosene import is now greater as the mean equals 3 314.53 thousand barrels with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 5 336.82 thousand barrels in December 2017 and record low of 1 084.79 thousand barrels in June 2003.
