Import of bituminous coal to Switzerland: Decrease in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that the indicator fell strongly by 99.85% compared with the previous year. The variable greatly decreased from 15 853 045 kilogram to 22 990 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 48.35%. It highlights the all-time low since 1988. The overall changes for the previous 30 years hit a decline of 99.99%. Moreover, it has shown a decrease at a 0.82% compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 136 452 201.4 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 357 392 512 kilogram in 1988.
