Compared with the prior year flax yarn import sharply fell by 97.38%, according to numbers presented by European Commission. It shows the all-time minimum since 2003 as the variable greatly declined from 19 100 kilogram to 500 kilogram, in comparison with the previous year when it went up by 267.31 percent. Croatia saw a drop of 98.68% in flax yarn import during the last 15 years. Moreover, it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.46% over the 5 years with a marginal overall decline since the 2003. It averaged 10 680 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 37 900 kilogram in 2003.
