Chromium ferroalloys imports in United States decreases in 2015

In 2015 chromium import strongly decreased by 36.49%, adjusted data from U.S. Geological Survey pinpoint. Chromium import dropped greatly from 359 000 metric ton in 2014 to 228 000 metric ton previous year, compared to the prior year when it went up by 28.21 percent. United States saw a diminution of 8.43% in chromium import over the past 18 years. Moreover, it has had a negative CAGR of 0.06% during the five years with a slight overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 270 277.78 metric ton from 1998 to 2015 and it attained its all-time high of 371 000 metric ton in 1999 and record low of 140 000 metric ton in 2009.
