Sold production of fresh or chilled whole turkeys in Hungary decreases in 2017

According to numbers published by European Commission, compared with the previous year the indicator fell by 10.8%. Turkey sold production decreased by 520 000 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 17.57 percent. The overall changes for the previous 17 years attained an increase of 309.05%. Still it has attained a decrease at a 0.06% average annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 3 144 000 kilogram from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 8 553 000 kilogram in 2002 and record low of 1 050 000 kilogram in 2001.
