Naphtha import in Ecuador: Increase in May 2018

JODI Data reported that naphtha import went up sharply by 38.62% in May 2018. The indicator grew strongly from 1 230 thousand barrels to 1 705 thousand barrels, versus the prior month when it fell by 0.81 percent. When taking into account the year before, it can be noted that the variable was going up by 14.21 percent and attained 1 302 thousand barrels in May. Between May 2017 and the same month the year after, the data pinpoint a 30.95 percent fluctuation. The overall changes for the previous 9 years hit a rise of 103.7%. In comparison to its average, the naphtha import is now bigger as the mean equals 1 146.48 thousand barrels with a marginal overall raise since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 1 767 thousand barrels in August 2017 and record low of 480 thousand barrels in June 2009.
