Import of horse, ass, mule, hinny meat to France decreases in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that in 2016 the indicator declined by 5.46 percent. It's new all-time low since 1994 as horse meat import diminished from 57 813 676 US Dollar to 54 656 984 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 17.93 percent. France saw a fall of 50.31% in horse meat import over the past 23 years. Moreover, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.09% over the last five years with a negligible overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 103 992 378.96 US Dollar from 1994 to 2016 and it reached its maximum of 148 289 712 US Dollar in 1996.
