Flax yarn import rose by 8.03 percent compared to the previous year, new data from European Commission demonstrate. The indicator grew by 231 400 kilogram, compared with the prior year when it dropped by 29.28 percent. The overall changes for the previous 16 years hit a drop of 31.69%. Furthermore, it has had a rise at a 0.01 percent average annual growth rate over the five years with a negligible overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 4 705 612.5 kilogram from 2001 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 7 269 100 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 2 490 600 kilogram in 2009.
