Flax yarn export declined by 20.51% in comparison to the prior year, according to data released by European Commission. The variable dropped by 153 300 kilogram, versus the previous year when it increased by 51.12 percent. European Union saw a raise of 10.02% in flax yarn export over the past 8 years. However, it has shown a decline at a 0.04% CAGR during the last five years with a slight overall growth since the 2010. It averaged 549 562.5 kilogram from 2010 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 747 300 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 374 400 kilogram in 2011.
