Gas and diesel supply and demand balance in Ukraine: Decline in May 2018

In May 2018 the variable sharply fell by 101.63%, new figures from JODI Data show. Gas and diesel oil supply and demand balance went down greatly from -29.35 thousand barrels per day to 0.48 thousand barrels per day, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it decreased by 298.33%. When looking at 2017, it can be observed that the indicator was dropping by -130.55% and attained -1.43 thousand barrels per day in May. Year-on-year, this pinpoints a -133.31% change between May 2017 and May of the year after. Ukraine saw a drop of 96.01% in gas and diesel oil supply and demand balance during the last 7 years. Furthermore, the gas and diesel oil supply and demand balance is now below average of 3.77 thousand barrels per day with a overall rise since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 50.37 thousand barrels per day in January 2016 and record low of -30.83 thousand barrels per day in September 2012.
