Oats production in United States: Rise in 2017

In 2017 the variable grew by 12.21 percent, new figures from U.S. Department of Agriculture reveal. Oats production increased from 101.98 million US Bushels to 114.43 million US Bushels, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 13.9 percent. United States saw a decrease of 89.53% in oats production over the past 91 years. As well as it has shown the CAGR of 0.12 percent over the five years with a slight overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 702.06 million US Bushels from 1927 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 524 million US Bushels in 1945 and record low of 50.13 million US Bushels in 2011.
