Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Sweden: Decrease in 2017

According to numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office, the indicator declined by 16.59 percent in 2017. Horses import dropped from 13 150 923 US Dollar in 2016 to 10 969 667 US Dollar previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 5.64%. Sweden saw a rise of 192.09% in horses import during the last 26 years. However, it has shown a decline at a 0.03% average annual growth rate over the five years with a negligible overall growth since the 1992. It averaged 8 387 414.42 US Dollar from 1992 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 30 524 838 US Dollar in 2009 and record low of 1 298 037 US Dollar in 1994.
