Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Guyana goes down in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office announced that the indicator sharply dropped by 50.65% in comparison to the prior year. The variable declined strongly from 2 310 kilogram to 1 140 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 79.13%. It illustrates the all-time minimum since 1991. Guyana saw a decrease of 41.15% in horses import over the past 26 years. Likewise, it has attained a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.46% over the last five years with a slight overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 9 747.27 kilogram from 1991 to 2016 and it attained its maximum of 59 561 kilogram in 1992.
