Import of chromium ores and concentrates to Georgia drops in 2017

According to data released by United Nations Statistical Office, chromium import sharply declined by 68.25 percent in comparison with the previous year. The indicator strongly diminished by 146 140 kilogram, versus the prior year when it grew by 126.6 percent. The overall changes for the previous 20 years attained a drop of 19.93%. Moreover, it has attained a 0.08% compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a slight overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 43 312.75 kilogram from 1998 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 214 140 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 1 000 kilogram in 2006.
