Sales of roasted decaffeinated coffee in Austria goes up in 2016

European Commission published that coffee sales increased by 28.56% in comparison to the previous year. The indicator went up by 13.22 thousand kilograms, contrarily to the prior year when it dropped by 21 percent. Austria saw a decrease of 97.32% in coffee sales during the last 19 years. Moreover, it has attained a negative average annual growth rate of 0.04 percent over the last five years with a marginal overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 705.51 thousand kilograms from 1998 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 2 379.3 thousand kilograms in 2003 and record low of 46.31 thousand kilograms in 2015.
