In comparison with the previous year the indicator increased greatly by 5 200 percent, according to adjusted numbers presented by European Commission. Flax yarn import sharply grew from 10 Euro in 2015 to 530 Euro prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it went down by 98.81 percent. Latvia saw a decrease of 82.9% in flax yarn import during the last 12 years. Furthermore, it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.26% during the five years with a slight overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 4 172.5 Euro from 2005 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 32 720 Euro in 2006 and record low of 10 Euro in 2015.
